OUR MOVEMENT
Founded in 2021, Americans for Equality PAC seeks to build off earlier grassroots movements which fought against a Proposition that would allow the state to discriminate based on race and gender. Now, we aim to take that movement further and pass bills in every state preventing them from discriminating in public employment, education, or contracting.
OUR CAUSES
FIGHTING FOR EQUALITY
We believe that all people are equal, regardless of their race or gender. We need to make sure our states do too, which is why we must elect officials that will pass a proposition banning discrimination in public employment, education, or contracting.
FIGHTING FOR ENFORCEMENT
Even when such bills are passed, appointed officials may find ways to bypass them. With your support, we plan to urge our officials to appoint pro-equality regents in our universities.
FIGHTING WITH BIPARTISANSHIP
Equality isn't a just a Democratic issue, nor is it a Republican one, nor is it an issue that belongs to any party for that matter. It's something we can all agree on. For that reason, we'll support anyone, of any party, as long as they believe in our shared value of equality.
